Q1. What is AIRSIMe?
AIRSIMe is an "eSIM" that provides you mobile data at local rates in over 100 destinations. The eSIM can be downloaded instantly to your device over the air (OTA) via our AIRSIM ROAM APP or by scanning a QR Code .

Q3. How can I purchase AIRSIMe?
You can purchase AIRSIMe eSIM from our website or AIRSIM ROAM APP. Please download our two Mobile Apps AIRSIM ROAM and AIRTALK ROAM prior to your trip to facilitate the user experience throughout the journey.
Q4. What are the delivery options and time after I purchased AIRSIMe online?
After you purchased AIRSIMe from the AIRSIM ROAM App or our website, you shall receive a designated QR Code in email within 15 minutes.
Download your eSIM right before your trip only. You may download the eSIM directly from the AIRSIM ROAM APP or by scanning the QR Code from your device. Make sure your device has a stable internet connection when downloading.
Q5. Can I top up extra data on the same eSIM?
If the capacity of your purchased data plan has finished or almost finished during the trip, you can select “Top Up” button from the APP and follow the steps as instructed, the data capacity will be topped-up at once. Please note that such “Top Up” function is only available within 120 days from the date of activation of the data package and only applicable to certain AIRSIMe data packages. If the downloaded eSIM is expired for Top-Up or not available for Top-Up option, you can simply buy a new AIRSIMe data package again.
Q6. What is the validity of my AIRSIMe?
The AIRSIMe account has 1 year validity after first registration in AIRSIM App. You are required to download the eSIM within 120 days from the date of purchase of the data package. The expiry date of AIRSIMe account will be extended 1 year automatically from the date of purchase of any data package.
Q7. Can I use AIRSIMe in multiple destinations on the same day?
AIRSIMe can be used in multiple destinations if you have subscribed valid eSIM data package for the corresponding destinations. Visit our "Combo Package" options that may be useful.
Q8. Do I need to do any APN setting when using AIRSIMe?
Change of APN setting is not required in most destinations though some may require. Please refer to our APN & Carrier
List.
Q9. Is it secure to pay by credit cards online?
We use PayPal online payment system. It is a fast, highly secured and hassle-free payment platform which is widely accepted worldwide. Furthermore, your credit card information will not be stored in our AIRSIMe system.
Q10. How can I cancel the eSIM if I want to make changes for my trip or schedule?
All purchased eSIM can be used or activated within 120 days from the date of purchase. For further assistance, please contact our 24/7 customer service support.
Q11. How to calculate the usage time of my purchased data package?
Except for 24/48 Hours Data Package, the daily data usage time is from Hong Kong/Singapore time (GMT+8) 00:00:00 to 23:59:59. There is no pro-rata calculation regardless of the activation time of data service. 24/48 Hours Data Package is a continuous 24/48-hour session starting from service activation. “Day Count” data package starts upon data connected at designated destination consider as the first day, consecutive use of Day Plan is required. All unused data allowance cannot be carried forward to next trip and no partial refund will be made.
Q12. If I cannot find the corresponding data package that fits my travel period, what should I do?
We suggest you to select a data package with longer period so that your user experience will not be affected by the time zone of different countries.
Q13. How to use AIRSIMe for my next trip?
You can always subscribe new AIRSIMe eSIM from our AIRSIM ROAM APP or website for your every trip. If your downloaded eSIM has not expired yet, you can Top-up the data capacity for the same destination from the AIRSIM ROAM APP directly.
Q14. Is there any roaming charge if I switch on roaming function on my phone?
AIRSIMe eSIM is a roaming data SIM card. You need to switch on Data Roaming in order to use the service. There is no roaming charge involved. After using AIRSIMe or switched to other SIM card, please remember to turn off data roaming function, in order to avoid unnecessary roaming charges.
Q15. Where can I use AIRSIMe?
AIRSIMe covers more than 100 destinations Worldwide. AIRSIMe provides Single Destination data package as well as Combo Package options.
Q16. Does AIRSIMe support voice call and SMS?
AIRSIMe supports data service but not SMS. If you want to use voice call service, please download AIRTALK ROAM APP. Each data package comes with 30 minutes FREE AIRTALK talk-time that enables you making local calls at destination and calling back hometown while you’re overseas.
Q17. Does AIRSIMe support data sharing (Tethering)?
AIRSIMe works on unlocked mobile phones or tablets such as iPAD which supports eSIM function. You can use data sharing (Tethering) on your mobile phone or tablet if applicable.
Q18. Is there any data usage limit?
AIRSIMe provides unlimited data usage mainly for Asian areas while Fair Use Policy (FUP) applies in many overseas mobile operators. For the destinations which provide fixed data capacity, you can top-up extra data once you used up the initial data capacity.
Q19. How much data volume or capacity do I need?
The data volume you require depends on the activities to be performed, here are some examples.
Low usage
Email with text only, 40 emails consume about 1MB data.
Online Map or GPS navigation consumes about 1MB per minute.
Medium usage
Web browsing consumes 1MB per minute (text only) to 4MB or above per minute (with media).
Social Media such as Facebook consumes 20–120MB per hour (depends on the quantity of media).
High usage
Audio and video streaming consumes 2MB per minute (standard quality) to 5MB per minute (high quality). We recommend using WiFi while performing these activities.
Low usage
Email with text only, 40 emails consume about 1MB data.

Q20. How can I monitor my data usage?
You can check and monitor your data usage in the setting of your mobile phone, or by third-party Apps.
Q21. What can I do if the current data plan is consumed?
You can top up extra data from the AIRSIM ROAM APP once you used up the data capacity. The top-up function is allowed within 120 days from the date of purchase of your eSIM.

Q1. What is AIRTALK?
AIRTALK is a Mobile Application that allows you making local calls at destination or calling back hometown while you're overseas. Download our AIRTALK ROAM Mobile App prior to your departure. Additionally for users from Hong Kong or Singapore, you can receive calls via the AIRTALK ROAM APP after you have diverted your Hong Kong/Singapore mobile number to our AIRSIM system.
Q2. Do I need to have AIRSIMe before I can use AIRTALK?
You need to have an AIRSIMe account in order to register and use AIRTALK service. If you do not have an AIRSIMe account yet, please download and register AIRSIM ROAM APP first before you register on AIRTALK ROAM APP.
Q3. Do I require registration in AIRTALK APP? If yes, how?
SMS Verification of your mobile number is required during the registration. Please ensure your mobile number can receive SMS. You are recommended to download our AIRTALK ROAM APP and verify your mobile number before departure.
Q4. How can I purchase AIRTALK package?
Each AIRSIMe data package comes with 30 minute Free AIRTALK talk-time. You can purchase extra AIRTALK package in AIRSIM ROAM APP and use instantly via AIRTALK ROAM APP to make local calls at destination and call back hometown while you're overseas.
Q5. What are the charges of AIRTALK?
If you purchase AIRTALK package individually, our covered destinations are divided into Zone A, B and C which different rates applied.
Q6. What destinations are included in Zone A, B and C?
Our covered destinations are divided into Zone A, B and C. AIRTALK Zone A covers the United States, Canada and most Asian countries. Zone B covers Europe and Oceania on top of those covered in Zone A. Zone C includes ALL of our covered destinations. Please find the details in our AIRSIM ROAM APP.
Q7. What is the validity of AIRTALK package?
For the 30 minutes FREE AIRTALK that comes with the AIRSIMe data package, the validity is the same as the AIRSIMe data package. If you purchase AIRTALK package individually, the validity period is 30 days from the date of service activation.
Q8. How can I receive calls? What should I pay attention to?
If you would like to receive calls, please divert your registered mobile number to our system before departure. Our system will divert all your incoming calls to AIRTALK ROAM APP and you can receive those calls while you are overseas. We support Hong Kong and Singapore mobile users on this diverting service at this moment, for mobile users in other regions, only making outgoing call is applicable.
For Hong Kong users, use your verified Hong Kong mobile number, press: **21*30599888# CALL, before leaving Hong Kong.
For Singapore users, use your verified Singapore mobile number, press: **21*67616088# CALL, before leaving Singapore.
Please make sure the incoming calls are received from AIRTALK APP before answering.

Q9. What are the limitations of AIRTALK call diverting service?
For the purpose of receiving calls, only ONE verified Hong Kong or Singapore mobile numbers can be diverted. Multiple call divert is not supported.
Q10. How can I cancel AIRTALK call diverts when I return to Hong Kong or Singapore?
Upon return to hometown, use your verified Hong Kong or Singapore mobile number, press: ##21# CALL, to cancel the call diverting function.
Q11. How can I make phone calls?
You need to use AIRTALK ROAM APP to make phone calls. To call hometown or local numbers at destinations, please enter the country code and area code before the numbers in the Dialer page. For example:

Q12. I have diverted my mobile number to AIRTALK, why am I still unable to receive incoming calls?
Please check if the registered mobile number is the same as the one being diverted. Also check the setting of your mobile phone if you have already accepted all the permissions for AIRTALK, including Mobile Data, Notification and Microphone.
Q13. Why am I not able to hear any voice while using AIRTALK?
Please check the setting of your mobile phone and ensure you have accepted all the permissions to access Mobile Data, Notification and Microphone.
Q14. Can I still use AIRTALK if I change another mobile phone?
Please register AIRTALK ROAM APP again on your another mobile phone.
